Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of GBPCGameKeys and any purchase you make through it. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

GBPCGameKeys is a digital retailer of game activation keys. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean GBPCGameKeys. References to "you" and "your" mean the person using the site or placing an order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your country of residence, to create an account or make a purchase. By using the site you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

4. Products

The products we sell are activation keys for third-party digital storefronts and games. Once redeemed, the key grants access to the underlying game on its respective platform, subject to that platform's and the game publisher's own terms. We are not the publisher of the games and have no control over their content, availability, regional restrictions, age ratings, or post-launch changes.

Product information on the site (titles, descriptions, images, prices, languages, regions) is provided to the best of our ability but may occasionally be inaccurate or out of date. If a product turns out to be materially different from what was advertised at the time of your order, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve it.

5. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Payment is processed by our payment provider on a hosted checkout page. We do not see or store your card details. By submitting a payment you authorise us to charge the amount shown for the items in your cart.

6. Order acceptance and delivery

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase; the contract between you and us is formed when we confirm your order by email and the activation key becomes available on your account page. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, for example where stock is no longer available, where pricing was incorrect, or where we suspect fraud.

Activation keys are delivered digitally and made available on the "Activation Keys" section of your account as soon as they have been generated by our supplier. This is usually immediate but may occasionally take longer; we will email you when your keys are ready.

7. Refunds

Activation keys are digital goods that can be redeemed immediately and cannot be returned, so your statutory right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once a key has been delivered to your account.

We only issue refunds where we are unable to fulfil your order. Specifically:

• Your payment was successful but our supplier did not provide the activation key (for example because stock ran out between your order being placed and the key being generated, or because the supplier rejected the order). In this case we issue a full refund automatically; no action is required from you.
• Your order otherwise failed to complete on our side (for example because of a system error after payment was taken). We will issue a full refund as soon as the failure is detected.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

We do not offer refunds for buyer's-remorse, accidental purchases, mistaken-platform purchases, region or language incompatibility, keys that have already been redeemed, or for issues with the underlying game itself. If you believe your situation falls outside these categories and warrants a refund, contact us and we'll review it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site or your account for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes anyone else's rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, other accounts, or any underlying systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) to interact with the site, except for well-behaved search-engine crawlers obeying our robots directives.
• Resell, re-list, or redistribute activation keys you purchase, or use the site for any commercial reselling activity.
• Interfere with the operation of the site or attempt to overload it.

We may suspend or terminate access for any account that breaches these rules, and may report suspected criminal activity to the relevant authorities.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the site - including the site's design, layout, text, and graphics - is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Game titles, artwork, screenshots, and trademarks shown alongside products remain the property of their respective publishers and are used here for the purpose of identifying the products we sell.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

We are not responsible for the content, behaviour, or availability of the third-party storefronts or games to which the activation keys we sell relate.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law. Termination does not affect any rights or liabilities that accrued before it took effect.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. For material changes we'll make reasonable efforts to draw your attention to them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
